Ben Salmon
Founding Investor - Non-executive Director

Ben Salmon co-founded Assetz Property Group (Assetz) in 2005, and as Chief Executive Officer plays a pivotal role across functions of the group with specific focus on the Logos-India warehousing platform. Today, Assetz is one of the largest foreign owned real estate development companies in India.
The company has been responsible for some of South India's modern landmark projects, including Vrindavan TechVillage (VTV) - Karnataka's first commercial (for lease) office IT SEZ and India's first LEED Platinum rated office park. VTV has been recognized with several awards as a leader in the trend towards sustainability, including the coveted MIPIM Asia 2009 Award (Green Building Category). Similarly, Assetz has won multiple awards for construction safety, innovative design, green building/ sustainability, etc.
At the helm of the company's affairs, Ben has been responsible for the successful delivery of over 5 million sq. ft. development across Industrial, Residential and Commercial asset classes. And, has successfully executed over 20 principal real estate investment transactions and 9 principal exits of developed assets. Each exit has delivered returns equal or above the investment underwrite (in INR terms).
In addition, Ben co-founded the BMS asset management platform which was successfully exited to Embassy Real Estate Developers (Blackstone, Operating Partner), and he also co-founded Energon, a renewable energy platform which was successfully exited to the Equis Funds Group in 2013.
Before establishing Assetz, Ben held senior positions with the Lend Lease Group in Australia, Korea, Japan and India. He started his career with Lend Lease (Civil and Civic) in 1998 as a Cadet/Site Engineer, went on to become an Asset Manager with the company's Global Fund, Japan and completed his time with them as a Country Manager. Highlights from his time at Lend Lease include the development of the Lorenzo Piano Aurora Place, Sydney; Seoul Financial Centre, South Korea; and successful acquisition and repositioning of 7 commercial office buildings in Tokyo, Japan before moving to India in 2004 with Bovis Lend Lease India.
Furthermore, Ben is actively involved in community activities in India and Cambodia. He is an advisor and supporter of many local charitable organizations focused on disability, orphanages and education.
He also serves as a committee member of Asia Pacific Real Estate Association (APREA) - India Affordable Housing Board

Rajpal Chowdhary
Founding Investor - Non-executive Director

He is a founding Partner at Equis Funds Group PTE Ltd. which he co-founded in 2011. Mr. Chowdhary has years of experience in working on varied infrastructure planning and real estate development projects in over seven countries - UK, Singapore, HK, Malaysia, India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. He has experience spans large-scale urban regeneration schemes and public private sector partnership frameworks.
Prior to Equis, He was Partner and Executive Director of Assetz Property Services Pvt Ltd. in 2006 where he was involved in development of one of the largest Integrated IT SEZ township in Bangalore, sourcing of private sector investment and development opportunities with regional governments.
Prior to Assetz Group, he was a Senior Consultant, Strategic Consulting with Jones Lang LaSalle. He established and managed the JLL Research and Consulting business in India. He also worked on the planning and analysis of many projects across the UK such as Aston Town Centre and the Olympic City before returning to India in early 2006.
He holds a Master of Planning from School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi and a Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts from University of Ajmer.
